A wrap up of last week:
Yet another week has gone, with average weather and a few race meetings that were thrown into turmoil in Victoria last Wednesday. Cranbourne was transferred to Pakenham, from a Heavy track to the Synthetic surface which shortened our selection process. We found very few winners though there were quite a lot of place getters – some at good prices. Just shows, we too have bad days. That’s racing and we are not all perfect, in fact, far from it!
We managed to bounce back on Saturday finding 6 winners from 14 races and 8 second place getters. Remember, we do punt what we select, so on an average day we feel it too. We generally only back straight out, so it is money management that helps to keep us alive to punt another day.
A couple of Black Bookers coming up this week:
- KAYE CLUB: A good win at his last start and D Dunn is staying on board. Nice stayer in the making.
- CONSOMMATEUR: Another M Kent horse resuming. Follow the money as they do punt heavily and know when a horse is right on the money.
We are working on a new article this week about “PUNTING WITH CONFIDENCE” so keep an eye out for this on the articles page. Aiming to give a little insight into confidence, consistency, decision making, and using information about male and female’s horses and their differences.
We never write too much as we don’t want to bore people with unnecessary dribble. And would love it if a few people threw some questions about punting at us! Let us know what’s on your mind, and how we can help.
As always, Happy Punting!
