Saturday’s always my favourite day, and today will be no exception. Lots of work on the form needed as some pretty big fields with lots of class around.

Mid-week racing and again the struggle to find value winners with tipping selections from Ballarat, Ipswich, Warwick Farm and Gold Coast.
STARTER PACKAGE:
Tipped in 8 races for 7 winners with FOUR of the winners NO BETS. A NO BET is where a horse has assessed odds over those offered on the tote so is not considered a value bet, and it is recommended that these are not backed. Other horses in the same race that have assessed odds under the tote would still be backed.
Dutch Betting strategy Strictly following this strategy and based on $25 per race plus Betfair odds saw a break even day.
Best Value for the day was Gawler R1 H7 ITCHYZARIZ $19.00 (Betfair) plus QN $44.90.
Having an outsider salute meant that the day’s return didn’t show a loss even with four NO BETS.
QUICK PICKS
Tipped in 40 races for 26 winners (65% win rate) with 7 Quinellas.
Not a lot of value to be found but best price winners included: FAVONSKI $9.60 and SHUDA KNOWN BETTER $5.40.
