FLEMINGTON: Saturday 18 July 2020

Race 2 – 1200 – last 600 – 34.03

Rock Prophet: Great run, dragged the winner into the race, just went down, looked like a well-educated 3yo, fit worth following.

Steward’s Report

Rock Prophet: Began awkwardly, shifted out and made contact with Wilmot Pass.

Race 6 – 1600 – last 600 34.66:

Right You Are & Stretto: Both are very smart; Right You Are is all class and the strike rate show that. Stretto was well back early in the markets did not get clear and need a little more ground to get wound up, worth being in the black book.

Steward’s Report

Right You Are: Change of tactics to be ridden more forward. Settled forward of mid-field.

Race 8 – 2000m – last 600 34.46

Polly Grey: beaten 1.7 lengths came home well at the end of the race worth following

Steward’s Report

Polly Grey: Slow to begin. Checked near the 1400 metres when the tempo eased and then over raced until approaching the 1000 metres.

Race 9 – 1200 – last 600 34.26

Pinyin: got well back, but found the winner had a good length on him at the end. Has had his distances moved around a lot lately, 1400 to 1600 should suit worth following. Might just need to mature a little?? I do like him, has a very smart trainer. The good jockeys keep getting on.

Steward’s Report

SunshinesHeld up for clear running rounding the home turn and in the early part of the straight. Near the 200m was disappointed for a run to the inside of Dance to Dubai which shifted in. Was then directed out towards the heels of Dance to Dubai and was again disappointed between Dance to Dubai and Saw That Coming which shifted in. Thereafter did not obtain clear running and went to the line not fully tested.

IPSWICH: Saturday 18 July

Race 4 – 1200m – last 600 34.22

Langhro: Made them look second rate once he they moved off the fence, won very easily. It worth following great strike rate which I love.

Race 5 – 1350 – Last 600 34.51

Wren’s Day: This was an impressive win. Was well placed and ran up to his rating. Were 5 lengths off the lead at the 250 mark and still ran them down. Pricked his eyes on the line shows there was gas still in the tank
