I just wanted to check in with you and see what you thought of the Starter Members Selections birthday present Michelle sent through last Saturday. This was a little different to the free tips, as our selections offer various choices regarding betting strategies, and I am not sure exactly where you fit in terms of how you like to bet? So, we hope you had fun and made a profit for the day.
To give you an idea of what our members can achieve, we have done some analysis on how things have been going with our selections for the last few months. It was only at the beginning of November that I started adding the assessed odds and amounts to bet for a $25 outlay to the selection sheets. So, we only have three months of data so far (dutch-betting-strategy-results-november-2016-to-january-2017) but things are looking very positive for Dutch Betting. Whilst different betting platforms offer different returns for each bet, our numbers are based on the bets placed with Betfair, and the strategy returned some pretty good profits (after deducting $49 for the monthly membership):
- November 2016 Profit $271.70
- December 2016 Profit $535.10
- January 2017 Profit $927.20
Over the years, the idea that backing just one horse in a race is a more risky strategy has grown on me, and my personal preference is to back several horses. However, some of our members look towards flat staking. Higher risk but higher returns. We have also done an analysis on this type of strategy for your information (best-bets-analysis-november-2016-to-january-2017). This is based on $100 for the win, or when recommended $50 each way, and the profits were:
- November 2016 Profit $4880
- December 2016 Profit $2970
- January 2017 Loss ($730)
So. for the three months a good profit, but sticking to this requires patience and good money management ,especially during a losing month.

- Boxed trifectas for the green highlighted races.
- Higher amounts for the Dutch Betting.
- Only following the green highlighted races.
- Multis based on the best bets and free tips.
