I have had a bit of time to mull over what this year has brought to us as our first official year in business. Whilst I have been punting for more years than I care to admit, having a platform to provide the tips and information was new. For many years, people that I’ve known have been asking me to set this up and (big grin) now it’s real!
Its been a learning curve, and every week has bought something new and different. My challenge has been to use this to grow and expand both my knowledge plus information and tips that I provide for you and the rest of the RaceBiz community.
For me, personally, these are some of the things that have really put a smile on my face:
- Picking a $38,000 quaddie for our professional members.
- Selecting a number of F4s that have paid from $2,000 through to just over $10,000.
- Finding consistent profits through the Dutch Betting Strategy. To follow this you need to get your head around the fact that this is not a “big returns quickly” option. In fact, on some days the profits are not large but overall the bank builds up.
- The pleasure I get out of helping fellow punters make a profit on a regular basis.
- Having the opportunity to chat with members and shoot the breeze about what’s happening and what’s coming up.
- Finding betting strategies that help in a time poor world – many of our members are quite capable of checking the form, but are simply not able to do so as there are not enough hours in a day!
- In the last few months, my Best Bets selections have produced some great priced winners. For example:

I haven’t really spent a lot of time outlining strategies for making profits following the Best Bets yet, but plan to look at this in more depth in the coming weeks. Following a simple strategy of $100 the win (and $50 each way on the horses nominated), the return for November and December was over $7500. What I would like to add to this mix is the use of Multis as well. More to come (and more ways to make a profit) on this later.
